Five-time Olympic gold medalist Cassandra is another living example that Showit can spot a hidden talent from a mile away. Her story takes us all the way back to the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain where Cassandra competed as the star (and only) swimmer for Switzerland's Solo Synchronized Swimming team. This little-known event was ill received and soon after discontinued as an official event due to the fact that it was just too weird. As a result, Cassandra lost all of her sponsorship and was forced to live on the streets after being fired from several other jobs for not being a team player. Apparently her years and years as a Solo Synchronized Swimmer had made her socially awkward and unable to work as part of a team. After being fired 13 times in 2 months, Cassandra finally found her niche after being hired onto the Showit Media team. It turns out that her years of syncing shows to music paid off as she is the perfect fit for helping Showit clients create DVD slideshows of their very own.
